Our Statement of Faith:
We believe the Triune God, one God in three persons, - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, is the only true God. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 5:1-5)
We believe God the Father who created the universe is loving, compassionate, just, and kind. His greatest desire is to live in an intimate relationship with all people (Genesis 1:1,27; Deuteronomy 32:4; Exodus 34:6-7)
We believe all human beings are separated from God because of their sin, and we believe that by God's grace through faith in Jesus as our Savior, we are forgiven and have a restored relationship with God. (Roman 3:22-24; 6:23)
We believe because of His desire to live in a relationship with us, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, true God and man, born of a virgin, to be the only Savior from the penalty of sin through His suffering, death, and resurrection. (John 3:16, 14:6; Galatians as 4:4-5; Romans 6:23; Hebrews 7:26-27)
We believe Jesus sent the Holy Spirit, who speaks through the Scriptures, lives in us, and teaches us. He gives faith, power, gifts, and fruit. (John 14:26, 16:13; 1 Corinthians 12:3-7; Galatians 5:22-23)
We believe the Bible is the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. It is inspired by God and through it God reveals Himself to us. The Bible is the norm and guide on which we base our faith. (2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:15-17)
We believe in and anticipate the return of Jesus Christ at which time all people will be resurrected, unbelievers to eternal damnation and punishment, and believers to eternal life with God. (John 3:36)
We believe God has ordained marriage between one man and one woman until parted by death. He blesses this intimate union. Gen. 2:21-24
We believe Sexual Relationships outside of marriage are hurtful and destructive and are forbidden by the Word of God. Matt. 15:19-20; Gal. 5:19-21; I Cor. 6:15-18; I Cor. 3:16; Exodus 20:14
We believe Sexual Relationships between people of the same sex are against the natural order and are forbidden by the Word of God. Rom. 1:4-7; Gal. 5:19-21; Lev. 18:22; 1 Cor. 6:19-20; Lev. 20:13
We believe the unborn child is a human being, possessing the right of life. I Cor. 3:16
We believe all human life is protected from the practices of abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia by the commandment of God not to murder. Exodus 20:13; Luke 18:20
